Return to Water in Africa

Côte d'Ivoire is a land of contrasts. The climate ranges from semi-arid in the north to tropical in the south. Among the many impressive features of Côte d'Ivoire are the neon skyline of Abidjan, the tree-canopied rain forest of Taï National Park, the plantations of Grand Lahou, the mountains of Man, and the beaches of Bérébi or Grand-Bassam.
